Our policies are for the betterment of each student, teacher and staff member. Please review them.
  • FOR SAFETY: Parents are required to sign-in their child at the front desk prior to class every week.

  • Please refrain from rearranging or moving furniture in lobby sitting areas or classrooms.

  • Drinks and food are not permitted in classrooms or practice rooms. (Includes bottled water)

  • Full meals must be eaten outside of school (tables and chairs are available at the entrance of the building).

  • No animals are permitted inside the school or hallway.

  • No concealed weapons are permitted inside the school.

  • Parents are expected to monitor their children in the school at all times.

  • Lengthy cell phone calls must be taken outdoors, not in the lobby or hallway areas.

  • No solicitation to customers or MSI staff.

  • Tuition paid for group and private classes is non-refundable.  Tuition credits may be issued in some cases.

  • Payments must be made on due dates. Late payments will incur a 5% surcharge. We require a credit card to be on file.

Class Materials
  • MSI class books and music are under copyright laws and must not be reproduced, sold, or shared.

  • Music Schools International is not responsible for replacing lost or stolen materials caused by the customer.

  • Siblings in the same course may not share required class materials; purchases are separate.

  • Group classes: Make-up classes are not provided for absences.   If needed, a tutorial lesson can be purchased and scheduled outside of regular class time.  Not applicable for ages 2 and 3

  • Parents are responsible for looking up the homework on their parent portal.  Click on your student's class, then on "Notes" and look for the date of absence.

  • Private lessons: (1) lesson may be rescheduled within each term.  24-notice must be given to reschedule.  Improper notice or no-shows forfeit the lesson.

  • Photos and videotaping are not permitted during class time. Exceptions apply for special class events.

  • Students Age 2 – 6: Parent/Guardian attends classes with student. (See exceptions)

  • Students: Age 7 & up: Parent/Guardian attendance not required.  Must attend last 5 minutes of class.  

  • Exceptions: If there are siblings present, parent/guardian must sit with other child in lobby and come to class last 5 minutes with siblings.

  • Exceptions: Parents may sit with infants in class, if infant is not distracting.

Cancellation Policy

Group Courses, Classes and Private Lessons

  • Written notice must be given (4) weeks prior to next education term.

  • Cancellation fee is 50% of (1) Term tuition.  Fees will be charged for improper notification.
