Este departamento estĆ” diseƱado para ayudar a cada estudiante a desarrollar las mismas tĆ©cnicas utilizadas por los profesionales. A medida que los estudiantes exploren varios gĆ©neros musicales, aumentarĆ”n sus habilidades musicales desarrollando su oĆdo, aumentando el rango de metales, aprendiendo a leer y escribir mĆŗsica y aprendiendo a tocar de manera efectiva dentro de un conjunto. Se alienta a los estudiantes principiantes, intermedios y avanzados a explorar su creatividad mientras aprenden tĆ©cnicas y habilidades musicales que les servirĆ”n en los aƱos venideros.
Ensembles (Ages 10 -17)
The Youth Jazz Messengers will learn to apply their instrumental and vocal skills in an ensemble setting, learning the jazz idiom through improvisation, aural skills, and creative interpretation of Americaās own art form. Students will learn to play different jazz styles from swing to shuffle to funk to latin to ballad, exploring and understanding how to create and recreate. Our Jazz Messengers will have fun making music together, no matter which instrument they play!
